Corey Endorsed by StreetsPAC Mass
Today, the Committee to Elect Corey Dinopoulos is proud to earn the endorsement of StreetsPAC Mass, an advocacy group dedicated to improving the safety, mobility and livability of our streets. Corey adds this to his endorsements from Fmr. MA Sec of Transportation, James Aloisi and NoBostonOlympics Co-founder/Transportation for MA Director Chris Dempsey.
"District 2 is the engine of Boston's economy and in order to keep people moving, we need a strong advocate for multi-modal transit improvements in this district and city-wide!", Dinopoulos stated after receiving news of the endorsement.
StreetsPAC Mass announced their endorsements for the upcoming Preliminary Election last evening on their website, stating "We are proud to join local transportation advocacy leaders in supporting Corey Dinopoulos for District 2. Corey understands how fundamental sustainable transportation is to an equitable, vibrant city, and that increased funding and staff are necessary. As a regular bus rider in South Boston, he lives the same daily frustration that thousands of his neighbors do when overcrowded buses are stuck in traffic without a dedicated lane. As someone who regularly rides a bicycle in the city, Corey knows how a lack of safe, separated infrastructure prevents many from even considering a bike for transportation. Corey is a strong advocate for the Neighborhood Slow Streets program, which seeks to improve the safety of people walking on the streets of Boston."
