As the City Councilor for District 2, Bill Linehan has dedicated his life to public service and the City of Boston. I want to thank him for his continued service and commitment to the betterment of our great city.
South Boston, the South End, Chinatown, Bay Village, and Downtown face many obstacles but also tremendous opportunities. As a South Boston resident for the past nine years I have seen the neighborhood change before my eyes. Amidst this change, we must continue to work on innovative ideas to tackle the rising cost of living, public transportation, and access to quality education.
I'm excited to announce my candidacy for Boston City Council as the voice of a new generation of young leaders. I have been working to improve our community from the ground up – by walking our streets, talking to neighbors, and being civically engaged. I will work hard to bridge the divide of new and old and speak up for those whose voices aren’t heard. I believe that many residents in District 2 share this perspective, and I think we deserve a strong voice in city affairs. I want to serve on Boston City Council to be that voice.
I look forward to continuing the conversations and meeting with every resident and business owner in the district from now until November 7th. I'm energized and ready to get to work!
